Innocent Blood -By Brother Chuck
By Brother Chuck.
God hates murder. God hates the killing of the unborn. God hates racial extermination. God hates ethnic cleansing and mass population executions. God hates even a single murder. The Bible says that God hates the "hands that shed innocent blood." That's #3 on His list of things He hates found in Proverbs 6:16-19 (ESV).
My lead-off paragraph could be about abortion. But it's not. If you're looking for that article,
you'll find it here: The Genocide of the Unborn. This article is about Russia's war on Ukraine and the psychopath named Vladimir Putin.
Vladimir Putin is a "murderous dictator, a pure thug who is waging an immoral war against the people of Ukraine." - U.S. President Joe Biden
How much more innocent blood must be spilled in Ukraine before the world is totally fed up with Vladimir Putin? I assure you, God was fed up with the very first shedding of innocent blood at the hands of Putin.
In a speech on March 16, 2022, Russian President Vladimir Putin, said that Russia should undergo a "self-cleansing of society," to get rid of the "bastards and traitors," as thousands of Russians tried to flee Russia amid its invasion of Ukraine. He was talking about cleansing his own nation's people, simply because they disagreed with him. We haven't heard talk like "self-cleansing", from a world leader, since World War II. Adolf Hitler spoke openly of cleansing his own country. Never forget the Holocaust.
"Putin is the modern-day Hitler." - Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie
Let's take a look at Russian President Vladimir Putin's murderous regime through the years. There is so much history out there, I know this list is not exhaustive.
2002 - Chechen militants take more than 800 people hostage at a Moscow theater. Special forces end the siege, but use a poison gas in the process which kills many of the hostages.
2005 - Putin describes the 1991 collapse of the Soviet Union as the "greatest geopolitical catastrophe" of the 20th century (while the West celebrated).
2006 - Investigative journalist Anna Politkovskaya, a critic of rights abuses in Chechnya, is murdered in Moscow on Putin's birthday. Kremlin critic Alexander Litvinenko dies in London that same year after being poisoned with a radioactive substance. A British inquiry years later concludes he was killed by Russian agents.
August 2008 - Russia fights and wins a short war with Georgia. Tbilisi loses control over two breakaway regions that are garrisoned with Russian troops.
Feb. 27, 2014 - Russian forces start annexing Ukraine's Crimea region after Ukrainian protesters oust their country's Russia-friendly president Viktor Yanukovich. Russia incorporates Crimea the following month after a referendum condemned by the West. The United States and the European Union go on to impose sanctions on Moscow.
April 2014 - A pro-Russian separatist revolt breaks out in eastern Ukraine which results in a conflict, still ongoing, which hands the rebels control of a vast swath of territory and leaves more than 13,000 people dead. Western nations accuse Russia of backing the revolt; Moscow denies direct involvement.
Sept. 30, 2015 - Russia launches airstrikes in Syria in its biggest Middle East intervention in decades, turning the tide of the conflict in President Bashar al-Assad's favor.
March 4, 2018 - A former Russian spy, Sergei Skripal, and his daughter are poisoned in England with a nerve agent. They survive but a woman who lives nearby dies after her partner brings home the poison found in a discarded perfume bottle. Britain accuses Russia, which denies involvement.

Are we not appalled by VladimirPutin's atrocities? Are we not sickened by Putin's military killing machine which has been killing Ukrainian civilians including children? The world has labeled him a war criminal, and rightly so. These are war crimes against humanity; crimes against a peaceful unassuming neighbor.
"Intentionally targeting civilians is a war crime." - Secretary of State Antony Bliken
Ukraine is a free, independent
and sovereign nation forced into an unjustified and unprovoked war
they didn't want and all because Putin wants to reassemble the former
Soviet Union. Newsflash Mr. Putin! The USSR is dead! It
no longer exists. Putin is stagnant and stuck in the past; stuck in a
museum of historic antiquity.
"Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" -U.S. President Ronald Reagan
Reagan called for the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, Mikhail Gorbachev, to open the Berlin Wall, which had separated West and East Berlin since 1961. U.S. President Ronald Reagan, delivered his Berlin Wall Speech in West Berlin on June 12, 1987. The wall fell in 1989. Two years later in December of 1991, the world watched in amazement, as the Soviet Union disintegrated into fifteen separate countries. Hailed as a victory for freedom and a triumph of democracy.
Friends, we need another "Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall!" moment from President Biden, the leader of the free world.
February 24, 2022 - Russia invades Ukraine in a major escalation of the Russo-Ukrainian conflict that began in 2014. Internationally considered a war of aggression, it is the largest assault on a European state since World War II. It has also caused the largest refugee crisis in Europe since that war, with over 3.7 million Ukrainians fleeing their country as of the writing of this article. And that number is rising daily.
Putin's military war machine has been shelling apartment buildings, targeting civilians, bombing maternity wards, children hospitals, kindergartens, theaters and art schools, primary schools and even churches. Is there nothing sacred or out of reach that he won't bomb? These atrocities against innocent men, women and children are appalling. These are war crimes that must be severely punished.
"The reality is that Vladimir Putin has already crossed the red line into barbarism," - British Prime Minister Boris Johnson
In a Mariupol theater being used as a bomb shelter, hundreds of people including children were huddled inside. Satellite images clearly show that the theater had the word "children," written in jumbo sized letters on both ends of the building that could easily be read from the sky in hopes that Putin would have mercy on these children. He did not. Putin dropped a giant bomb on the theater, blowing it to smithereens. He didn't care one bit that the children were inside. It has been estimated that 1200 women and children were inside the theater at the time of the bombing. At least 130 people have been pulled from the Mariupol theater, but hundreds more remain under the rubble as rescue crews work to find them, according to Ukrainian member of parliament Sergiy Taru.
Vladimir Putin "at this moment is the most dangerous man in history." - U.S. Sen. Angus King
Also in Mariupol, Russian forces fired on a convoy of civilians fleeing the city. Russian forces shot and killed 10 people waiting in line for bread in Chernihiv. Are you fed up yet? When will the USA, the EU, and the rest of the world finally say to Putin, "Stand down! Enough is enough?" Dropping a giant bomb on a theater where hundreds of children are being sheltered is outrageous.
"For God's sake, this man cannot remain in power," - U.S. President Joe Biden said of Vladimir Putin at the end of his speech in Warsaw, Poland March 25, 2022
"There are six things that the Lord
hates, seven that are an abomination to him: #3. Hands that shed innocent blood." (Proverbs 6:16-19 ESV)
Clearly the Lord hates murder. I'm a realist, and I know that the world may never punish Vladimir Putin for his horrendous war crimes. But here's something else I know. I know that on judgment day, he will stand before almighty God and give an account of every single one of his atrocities. He'll be found guilty as charged. And then, he will receive his just reward. He'll quickly be cast into "the lake that burns with fire and sulfur" (Revelation 21:8 ESV), where he will be punished for all eternity. Below are some scriptures to remind us of the consequences God has in store for murderers like Vladimir Putin. In the end, he doesn't get away with it. God will make sure of that.
Number six of the Ten Commandments, "You shall not murder." (Exodus 20:13 ESV)
"Whoever takes a human life shall surely be put to death." (Leviticus 24:17 ESV)
"But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death." (Revelation 21:8 ESV)
"The only way this ends my friend is for somebody in Russia to take this guy out," - U.S. Sen. Lindsey Graham calling for the assassination of Vladimir Putin
Russia's war on Ukraine belongs to all people who believe in God, liberty and democracy. Ukrainians are heroically fighting and dying for their God-given right to be free, to elect the government of their choosing, to worship God in the way that they want, and to live without the fear of war, oppression and the tyranny of Vladimir Putin. We must stand with Ukraine. Let them know, you have their back.
Pray with me! Pray that just as Samson had victory over Goliath, so will Ukraine have victory over Russia. Pray for President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy as he leads his country's fight for freedom. Pray for the safety and might of Ukraine's military. Pray that Putin's war on Ukraine will soon end. Pray for peace in the region. Pray for the millions of Ukrainian refugees that have been forced to leave their homes and leave everything behind through no fault of their own to seek safety in Poland, Romania, Moldova, Hungary and others. Pray also that Putin's presidency will soon end thereby ending his reign of terror. Pray that through it all the Name of Jesus will be lifted up, miracles will take place and revival will break out all over Europe, Russia and the world. That is my prayer. Pray with me.
