I hear the words of God to Cain in Genesis 4:10, "What have you done? The voice of your brother's blood cries out to Me from the ground."
(Isaiah 62:1-12 NIV)
Israel is unique among nations because it is a nation that God has chosen for his own inheritance. "Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, and the people whom He has chosen for His own inheritance" (Psalm 33:12). This sets Israel apart from all other nations, as they have been chosen by God to be a holy people, above all others on the face of the earth. This means that Israel has a special relationship with God and is called to live in His presence and follow His commandments. This also means that Israel has a responsibility to be a light to the nations and to reflect God's holiness to the world. In the current conflict with Hamas, Israel is not just any other nation at war, but a nation with a unique and special calling from God. Therefore, as Christians, we should pray for the peace of Israel and for God's guidance and protection over the nation as they navigate through this difficult time.
On October 7th, 2023, the world woke up to reports of war breaking out in Israel. Hamas, a terrorist organization backed by Hezbollah viciously attacked Israel in unspeakably brutal ways. This attack was widespread, organized and intended to cause mass casualties. It is believed that Iran supplied the weapons and coordinated the slaughter of innocent Israelis. Missiles rained down from the skies all over Israel. Entire families were wiped out. Others were kidnapped and murdered. Some were captured to be held as hostages. Americans were also killed by these bloodthirsty murderers.
We stand fully with Israel and its right to defend itself against terrorist. God has shown His favor towards Israel in the past. When the enemies of Israel heard that God fought against them, they were filled with fear (2 Chronicles 20:29). As Christians, we are called to support and stand with Israel because God has chosen them as His people and has a special plan for them. Additionally, we should remember that God warns against trusting in political alliances, indicating that our support for Israel should be based on our faith and understanding of God's plan rather than political motivations.
Let us pray.
Heavenly Father, we come before you with heavy hearts, lifting up the nation of Israel, its leaders, and its military in prayer. We ask for your divine protection and guidance during this time of war. Lord, we pray for the safety and well-being of the Israeli people, that you would shield them from harm and bring peace to their land. Strengthen their leaders with wisdom and discernment as they make difficult decisions. Grant their military the strength and courage they need to defend their nation. We pray for a swift resolution, Lord, and for your peace to prevail in the hearts of all involved. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Who is Hamas?
Hamas is a blood-thirsty genocidal terrorist group committed to the destruction of Israel and the murder of Jews. Hamas was founded in Gaza in 1987 as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood, a movement dedicated to promoting Islamist extremism worldwide. They are a designated terrorist group in several countries, including the US, EU, Canada, Japan, Australia, Israel, and others. They are responsible for decades of violent terror attacks against Israeli civilians, including suicide bombings, stabbings, and shootings. They have also launched over 20,000 rockets into Israeli towns and cities. Their goals are outlined in their founding charter, which combines antisemitic conspiracy theories with the most toxic and hateful interpretations of Islamic theology.

Is It Possible That Israel and the Jews Could Be Wiped Out Forever ?
No it isn't possible. God's covenant with Israel is everlasting and cannot be broken, ensuring their existence despite any threats or attempts to wipe them out. According to the Bible, Israel will exist forever. The Bible assures us that God will be a shield for Israel and that He will preserve His people. The prophet Isaiah announces the Good News, Israel's God still reigns as King. Additionally, it is stated that Judah will be inhabited forever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation. Yahweh will inherit Judah as his portion in the holy land and will again choose Jerusalem. These biblical facts assure us that Israel will continue to exist eternally. As Christians, we should pray for peace and reconciliation in the region and trust in God's faithfulness to His people.
The following passages confirm that the Jews are God's chosen people, and He promises to protect and uphold them. He didn't make this covenant with Hamas or any other Muslims. He swore this oath to Israel and the Jewish people.
- Deuteronomy 7:6-8 (NIV): "For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you out of all the peoples on the face of the earth to be his people, his treasured possession. The Lord did not set his affection on you and choose you because you were more numerous than other peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples. But it was because the Lord loved you and kept the oath he swore to your ancestors that he brought you out with a mighty hand and redeemed you from the land of slavery, from the power of Pharaoh king of Egypt."
Joel 3:20 (NIV): "Judah will be inhabited forever and Jerusalem through all generations."
Isaiah 31:5 (NIV): "Like birds hovering overhead, the Lord Almighty will shield Jerusalem; he will shield it and deliver it, he will 'pass over' it and will rescue it."

"Let my people go!" (Exodus 9:1)
Is Magog Russia?
Is Magog Russia? It is possible that Magog could be referring to Russia. In the Bible, Magog is mentioned as a land associated with Gog, the prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal (Ezekiel 38:2; Ezekiel 39:1). While the exact identification of these places is uncertain, some scholars have suggested that Rosh could be a reference to Russia. However, it is important to note that this interpretation is not universally agreed upon and there are other theories as well. Ultimately, the specific identification of Magog and its connection to Russia is not explicitly stated in the Bible, so it is important to approach this interpretation with caution.
