RUSSIA ILLEGALLY INVADED UKRAINE AND VIOLATED THEIR SOVEREIGNTY AND TERRITORIAL INTEGRITY
It doesn't seem fair does it? Russia, acting like a school yard bully and all. Russia, with their enormous and powerful military gave Ukraine no chance to win. Just look at their size difference in area and militarily. It reminds me of the Bible story David and Goliath. You'll find it in 1 Samuel 17:1-58 (NIV). The giant, Goliath, gave David little chance to win. But David was filled with faith! And he slew the giant Goliath with a stone and a sling. Then, with the giant's own sword,
he cut off Goliath's head. David was victorious and Ukraine will be victorious too. Right will triumph over wrong and democracy will triumph over tyranny.

An Open Letter to Ukraine
My dear Ukrainian soldiers and families,
I want to remind you that in the midst of the challenges and fears you may be facing, God is always with you. He is your strength and your refuge. You do not have to be afraid, for He will never leave you nor abandon you. He is always faithful and will uphold you with His righteous hand. I know that the situation may seem overwhelming, but I encourage you to be strong and courageous and wait on God. Trust in the Lord and lean on His promises. He will strengthen you and help you through this difficult time. I want to leave you with a scripture from Isaiah 41:10: "Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed (discouraged), for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." May this verse bring you hope and comfort as you continue to trust in God's unfailing love and presence.
With love and prayers,
–Brother Chuck
In the midst of war, it can be difficult to see and feel God's presence, but the Bible reassures us that God is always with us, especially in times of trouble.
In the book of Joshua, as the Israelites were about to enter the Promised Land and face their enemies, God repeatedly commanded them to be strong and courageous, and reminded them that He would be with them wherever they go. This is a powerful encouragement for soldiers and their families, knowing that God is with them in the midst of the battle. For soldiers on the front lines, it's important to remember that God is their ultimate source of strength and courage. They can find comfort and confidence in knowing that they are not alone, and that God is fighting alongside them. This can provide a sense of peace and assurance, even in the midst of chaos and danger. For families left behind, it's important to trust in God's promises and to pray for the safety and protection of their loved ones. They can find encouragement in the fact that God is with their family members, and that He is watching over them. They can also find comfort in the community of believers, who can come alongside them to offer support, prayer, and practical help. Ultimately, the stories of Joshua remind us that God is faithful and that He is the one who will deliver His people. In times of war, we can be sure of God's presence and protection, and find strength and courage in Him.

What Does 'Peace Formula' Initiated by President Zelenskyy Mean? Ten Items - Ten Commitments
Peace Through Strength
"Freedom must be armed better than tyranny. Western countries have everything to make it happen. The final victory over the tyranny and the number of people saved depends of them. Arm Ukraine now to defend freedom!" -Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine
Ukraine, unlike Russia, is predominantly Christian, with greater than 90% of religiously active citizens belonging to Orthodox, Catholic or Protestant denominations (2006 Razumkov Centre survey). Once called the "Bible Belt" of the Soviet Union, religion was suppressed in Ukraine under Soviet rule but has grown since the nation became independent again in 1991.
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." (Philippians 4:6 NIV)
