Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these" (Matthew 19:14 NIV).

In Matthew 19:14 (NIV), Jesus is telling us that children are really important to God. He wants us to come to Him just like little kids come to their parents. Even though children may be small and sometimes not taken seriously by grown-ups, God sees them as very special and valuable. So, if you're a kid, remember that God loves you and thinks you are really special. And if you're a grown-up reading this, remember to treat children with love and respect because that's what God wants us to do.
