Eternal Universe? Or Eternal God?

You have to choose one. Either God is eternal and has always existed, or the universe is eternal and has always existed. Those are the only two options we have. Cause and effect is the relationship between two things, when one thing makes something else happen. Cause and effect relationships are happening all around you. In science, these relationships are constantly being identified, examined, and used to explain changes that occur in the world. Everything has a cause. You can't get something from nothing, therefore if there was nothing in the beginning of time, there would be nothing now. But something is here...

Your question, Captain Kirk: "Who created God?" is not logical. If God had needed a creator, he wouldn't be God.

If everything in the universe has been caused by something else, then we must look outside the universe, to find the cause of it all, the first, and uncaused, cause.

Why Would Richard Dawkins Say That Aliens Created Life?

Wait a second. Richard Dawkins admits that we don't know who started the process of life, but that it was possible that we would one day find out that Aliens were responsible for creation. Frank Turek explains why Richards Dawkins would resort to such an unusual explanation.

The Case for Creator God

You're here! You exist. The world exists. The universe exists. Thus...

• Something exists.
• You don't get something from nothing.
• Therefore a necessary and eternal "something" exists.
• The only two options are an eternal universe or an eternal Creator.
• Science has disproved the concept of an eternal universe.
• Therefore, an eternal Creator exists. "In the beginning God..." (Genesis 1:1) see also John 1:3 GW

Lee Strobel

Former atheist Lee Strobel: "Essentially, I realized that to stay an atheist, I would have to believe that nothing produces everything; non-life produces life; randomness produces fine-tuning; chaos produces information; unconsciousness produces consciousness; and non-reason produces reason. Those leaps of faith were simply too big for me to take, especially in light of the affirmative case for God's existence ... In other words, in my assessment the Christian worldview accounted for the totality of the evidence much better than the atheistic worldview."

Think about it. Talk about it. Research it. Know why you believe what you believe. Be ready to give an answer for what you believe. There's a name for this. That name is apologetics. It means "to give a defense; to defend; to defend our faith."

"But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts, and always be ready to give a defense to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you, with meekness and fear..." (1 Peter 3:15)

Who Made God?

Who Made God? "When you think about it, how much do we really know compared to our Creator-who is infinite in knowledge and wisdom? When you compare our finite knowledge to God's infinite knowledge, in essence, we know "nothing." After all, how much is something compared to an infinite amount?" In the video below, Ken Ham from Answers in Genesis answers the question, "Who Made God?"
